Itinerary

Day 1 > Saigon Arrival

Arrive at Noibai International Airport, where you will be met by your English-speaking tour guide and accompanied to the transfer to Hanoi.

Check-in: from 2:00 PM

First discovery tour of Hanoi with a visit to the Jade Mountain Temple on the Lake of the Returned Sword, rickshaw ride through the Old Town, which gives you an insight into the everyday life of the Hanoians in a labyrinth of narrow streets and alleys (including lunch).

The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

Drive to the multi-story wartime tunnel system in Cui Chi (70 km from Saigon).

Explore the Cu Chi tunnel system and follow in the footsteps of the former Vietnamese partisans. These tunnel systems, approximately 250 km long, were built during the two wars against France and the United States. These tunnels once housed storage facilities, small weapons factories, and medical facilities for the Cu Chi partisans. Some of the tunnels are now closed to tourists.

Return to Saigon and overnight stay in Saigon

Trip to the Mekong Delta.

In Vinh Long, you will take a boat trip through an area of ​​lush green vegetation in the Mekong Delta to a large fruit tree plantation where you can enjoy delicious tropical fruits.

Continue by bus to Can Tho and overnight stay in Can Tho.

Today, you’ll first take a boat trip to discover the beautiful nature and peaceful life in the Mekong River Delta. Afterwards, you’ll visit the Cai Rang floating market.

Floating markets are among the Mekong Delta’s most special highlights. They are usually wholesale markets where fruit, vegetables, and local produce are sold to wholesalers. The goods are delivered directly from the boats; vendors hang the available wares on a high pole in their boats, making it possible to see what’s on offer from afar.

The journey continues by boat to Chau Doc, a village of the Cham minority. Here, you’ll visit the floating fishing village and spend the night in Chau Doc.

Today you’ll travel by speedboat to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival, you’ll be picked up by your tour guide and transferred to your hotel.

The Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, was once considered the most beautiful city in Indochina and, despite its recent, rather turbulent history, has managed to retain much of its former charm. On a city tour today, we’ll visit the important sights, such as the Independence Monument and Wat Phnom Temple, which offers an interesting view of the surrounding area. Also on your itinerary are the Royal Palace, built in 1866 during the reign of King Norodom, and the Silver Pagoda, formerly known as Wat Uborsoth Rotannaram.

After breakfast, you’ll continue your tour of Phnom Penh. Your itinerary includes visits to the National Museum and the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

In the afternoon, you will travel by bus to Siem Reap, where you will also spend the night (bus journey approx. 5 – 6 hours)

You will spend the entire day sightseeing in Siem Reap. First, you will travel to the world-famous former royal city of Angkor Thom with its famous gates. You will visit, among other things, the royal temple of Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Lion King, the Bayon Temple, and the famous Ta Phrom Temple, which was once a monastery and whose walls are partially overgrown by gigantic jungle trees.

In the afternoon, your sightseeing tour continues to Angkor Wat, which you will also visit. You will experience the sunset from Pre Rup Temple, where you will have an unforgettable view of the Angkor Wat temple complex.

Transfer to the airport and flight to Sihanoukville (flight time approximately 45 minutes)

Upon arrival in Sihanoukville, you will be picked up by your driver and taken to the port. Transfer by speedboat to Koh Rong Salem.

Once you arrive on the island, you will check in to your beach hotel, where you will spend the next few days.
